We’re very happy with our East Coast Roast style here at Small World Coffee. We love the flavors that develop when you roast to the point of full caramelization, and we’ve searched long and hard for beans that taste their best at that point; but sometimes, we wonder what’s waiting for us just past our normal roast. Sometimes, we have to take it to the dark side.
For our Black and Tan, we split the blend evenly between a dark roasted Mexican coffee and Indonesian coffee roasted to our traditional East Coast Roast. The Indonesian stalwarts of Sumatran and Bali provide a long-lasting body, and the dark roasted Mexico gives you a crisp and smoky flavor.
